iv.
to a most beloved lover,
in whose absence
i feel the vacuity of solitude.
i pledge thee surrendered love,
i vow thee devotion over life.
it is of no importance to me
forgiveness,
God
nor mercy.
yet, i sorely, achingly beg thee
to cure my sins and void
with divine lips of thy.
v.
slave to thee
as devil to sin,
as human to passions is.
thy treacherous sorrow haunts my reveries,
but behold! thy gaze will beguile me no longer.
a crying out in grief.
oh Lord! where the bliss is,
since hast thou gone?
thy withered thorns firm in my chest,
thine exquisite honey in mouth of mine.
hence, i beg thee
to bring me back to the divine garden,
to bring me back with God,
to bring me back with Thee.
ix.
Thou,
my every conscious thought,
my every last notion.
carving thy name among rose petals
i long to burn
in the tyrannous fire of love’s dictatorship
(desperate passion. healing beauty.
gleaming devotion. maddening lust)
for the sole purpose
of being admired anew by thee,
solace to the brumal hug of thine absence.
let me be thy Queen of Hearts,
let me be thine Ace of Cups,
the sixth Arcane of the golden deck,
let me linger in the beam of thy gaze
just for a little longer
just until the red candle has melted,
just until thy name on the third sword
is for good and all disremembered.
